These days the world of music is full of avant-garde ideas and concepts, with composers and music makers stretching to far out lengths to create original works. This is one such example, as filmmaker Daniel Michaelis and producer Alexander Sperr have teamed up to present this cool video.
Bang & Olufsen have been regarded as one of the foremost producers of audio equipment in the world for some time, and rightly so. This video is an awesome piece of work, featuring some of the hottest names in fashion. Whilst I love Duran Duran, this is far from their greatest song, but don't let this put you off the video which has the kind of quality you'd typically expect from a fashion-conscious major act. The concept of having the cast acting as the members of the band is quirky and for me it really works. Check it out.
My Tele is going to look pretty special in this great new guitar case from Brixton. This is so much more luxurious than your regular flight case, possessing a very retro cool. They have also made an awesome Fender branded record case which is certainly worth checking out- it will satisfy the serious rocker inside you.
This is an old school ghetto blaster with a modern twist. At first glance you might think it belonged in Harlem circa 1983, but on closer inspection there is an iPod dock where you might expect a cassette deck. This is great product and well worth taking a look at in time for summer next year.
I love Daft Punk. Their blend of sounds is a cool example of that modern trend of mixing anything and everything, embracing huge dance beats, screaming rock guitars and more recently epic orchestral soundscapes for the Tron Legacy soundtrack. British Drum and Bass producer DJ Fresh (real name Daniel Stein) is responsible for this year's massive summer anthem 'Louder', released by Ministry of Sound featuring vocals from singer-songwriter Sian Evans from the band Kosheen.
We're predicting big things for DJ Fresh, English DJ and founding member of drum and bass group Bad Company. 'Louder' is the first song of the dubstep genre to reach number 1 in the UK Singles Chart and number 4 in the Irish Singles Chart. The new Mark Ronson, Fresh has been busy collaborating with some major industry names and we can't wait to hear what's next.
